Youth Upliftment through Sport

Erongo Marine Enterprises (EME) in May 2025 attended the Sem Kasete Schools Sports Tournament hosted by Coblenz Combined School in Namibia’s Otjozondjupa Region.

Learners from around 10 rural schools, most of whom come from vulnerable backgrounds, took part in a lively weekend of sporting activities, including various sporting codes. Despite the basic facilities, the children had an incredible time.

EME donated more than 200 textbooks to the value of N$ 20,000 as part of its sponsorship commitment.

In addition to attending the event, the EME team also took time to familiarise themselves with the school and its limited facilities to identify how they can best contribute in line with their CSI focus areas.
