Stronger Together: Erongo Marine Enterprises and Partners Support ||Kharas Communities During Independence Celebrations

As Namibia celebrated its Independence, Erongo Marine Enterprises (EME) joined hands with its partners to bring much-needed food support to communities in the ||Kharas Region.

EME donated food parcels to be distributed across all seven constituencies of the region. The initiative was made possible through the generous support of EME's Horse Mackerel right-holding partners, Arechanab Fishing & Development Company, Cerocic Fishing and Erongo Seafoods, together with Lucky Star, who contributed frozen and canned fish.

For EME, the initiative reflects a simple belief: that Namibia's marine resources should benefit all Namibians. By pooling resources with its partners, the company was able to extend its reach well beyond its home base in Walvis Bay and support families in the south of the country.

The initiative forms part of EME's broader commitment to community upliftment and food security, guided by its purpose of fishing to empower, equip and transform. As a Namibian Horse Mackerel company and part of Oceana Group, EME continues to work closely with its right-holding partners to create lasting value for the communities it serves.

EME extends its sincere appreciation to Arechanab Fishing & Development Company, Cerocic Fishing, Erongo Seafoods and Lucky Star for their generosity, and to everyone involved in making the distribution possible.

Stronger together, we continue to build a better Namibia.
